What to Expect

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

First Visit

Upon arrival you will be greeted by our friendly staff. A few forms will be needed in order for us to get a health history from you. You will then watch a 7 minute video, followed by a consultation and comprehensive exam with the doctor. This visit is an educational process to help you understand what is chiropractic, and what to expect with the exam.

The first visit is approximately 1 hour. Please bring your insurance card so we can verify your coverage by your next visit.

Second Visit

On your second visit there will be another 7 minute video, and the doctor will go your Report of Findings discuss your health issues. Several questions will be answered on this visit:

  1. Is chiropractic are right for your condition?
  2. How long it will take?
  3. Do you want relief or corrective care?
  4. What will my treatment consist of?
  5. How much will it cost?

It is best to have your spouse, partner, or guardian present to help understand your condition, for support, and to aid in the financial decision.

We may start the first treatment on this visit. Plan on approximately 1 hour for this visit, as well.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

A Typical Visit

We spend time with you going over the procedures we use in our office. Showing you how the motion table and neuromechanical adjusting instrument work and why we use them. After your treatment plan begins a typical visit will last about 15 minutes. The front desk will have your appointments pre-scheduled for your convenience.

Dr. Maria Asks some important questions of interest to San Leandro residents - Chiropractor San Leandro Dr. Maria Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in San Leandro and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic practice member knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
